Former Supreme Court Judge Kurian Joseph speaks on Farternity

Speaking at the Law Orientation Program conducted by Law School  of ICFAI University Dehradun, former Supreme Court Judge Justice Joseph Kurien highlighted the provisions of unity and harmony in the Constitution of India. He stated that despite all religious diversity we all are one because we all are Indians. Justice Joseph further highlighted that in our constitution, all religions are treated equal. And every religion teaches to be a superior citizen and human being. Justice Kurian further said that every citizen of the country should treat all the people like their brothers and Sisters  irrespective of their caste, religion and gender.

He further, also touched upon the deep concepts of Preamble of Indian Constitution and Right to religion under Article 25 to 28 of Constitution of India.

In the Virtual Session VC of IUD Prof. (Dr.) Muddu Vinay was also present. The welcome address was given by Prof. (Dr.) Yugal Kishore, Dean, ICFAI Law School Dehradun. The moderators for the session included Faculties of ICFAI Law School Dehradun Ms. Monika Kharola, Dr. Avnish Bhatt, Mr. Avishek raj, Mr. Rohit Shukla, Mr. Vishal Bera, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan and Mr. Parth Upadhyay.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to Hon’ble Speaker Justice Kurian Joseph and everybody involved in the Session.
